Robb and I were talking yesterday morning about our #Juice60 cleanse, and he spouted the words that many of you have said before…
“I always thought it was too expensive to juice.”
You’ve said that, right? I know you have. So, let’s break it down so it can now and forever be broke…
The other day, at my beloved Asian market, I spent $42 on produce for three days worth of juice. (In all honesty, I could have spent less, but I tend to add a lot of ingredients to my juices and I was out of both ginger and vinegar.)
Some of you may say, “WHAT?!? That’s high! Oh my goodness gracious… that works out to about $120 a week on veggies! Damn, Carla!”
Hold the phone. Let’s compare that to, say, Robb’s pre-cleanse daily meal expense.
Now admittedly, Robb ate out for every meal. He spent $8.37 on his morning Starbucks, and then another $8 on breakfast. Lunch was another $8-10 (let’s say $8), about $3 for a snack, and then $12 for dinner.
That’s a whopping $36.37… a day. For food. Works out to more than $250 a week.
$250…… or $120. I’m just sayin’.
